Disney has hired the top human resources consultant in the United States to investigate claims that it ignored a request from a whistleblower and gave employees inaccurate salary information.
A report by The Washington Post found that in a three-month period from April to June, the company hired three former Disney employees to investigate the company’s HR practices.
The report says the former employees said they were subjected to harassment, retaliation, retaliation by supervisors and other abuse.
The former employees told The Post that they were told to “go back to the office” after reporting misconduct.
A Disney spokesman told Bloomberg News that the company has hired an outside legal team to review the report.
Disney also hired an independent external auditor to review Disney’s internal HR practices, The Washington Times reported.
