Disney’s HR chief says ‘it’s time to bring in a whole new generation’

Disney’s human resources chief, Scott Healey, said in a memo that the company “needs to bring a whole different generation of talent in to support our evolving business.”

In his memo, Healey said he would create a team of senior HR professionals, including Disney employees, to assist Disney executives in developing strategies to “better engage with our talent.”

The Disney execs’ memo comes after a number of high-profile departures this year, including former chief financial officer David Ebersol and Disney’s head of global corporate communications, Karen Wysocki.

Wysicki has been the Disney HR chief since last May.
